A weekend in Tirol, Chapter 4

The village is a cosy skiing resort, with lots of trails going into the backcountry. It's house mountain, the Acherkogel, looks a bit like the emblem of Paramount Pictures. I dropped off the buss and strolled a bit along the mainroad before I turned in to have a late lunch at the Post hotel Kassl.

After having finished a Tiroler Pfanne (at least I think that was the name of the meal) I set out for a half-day-hike to the Piburg Lake. On my way to the trail head I passed delightful flower beds buzzing with insects.

Thank you, Bob. The shop decoration simply caught my eye. I loved the noses of the witches.

Neusinha, I feel much enticed to take your hand and show you how to walk in the mountains instead of in the computer. But I have a feeling you enjoy this blisterfree way to discover the wild nature :-)
