Sparkling World
London, 23 December 2012, Part 3
Oxford Street at the corner of Selfridges department store was
a glittering shiny place. People
bustled in and out of the shops
to find the last gifts or get some ingrediants for their Christmas
feast. Red double deck busses
were filing in endless rows
heading east and west. Music
and street noises filled the air.
The ferris wheel on the funfair in Hyde Park
was one of our last sights before I had to say good-bye to all my dear friends. Meeting them was my Christmas present! My heart bled a bit, when I had to leave, but my family waited at home to celebrate Christmas Eve together.

At Hyde Park Corner.I jump into the underground. I had some nightmare memories of a former trip to London, where the tube had gotten stuck in the tunnel for over half and I had nearly missed my plane. But this time all went well. I landed in Hamburg at about 10:30 pm and indulged myself by taking a taxi. A little luxury after a perfect day, which I didn't want to spoil by waiting for a bus or train that didn't intend to come. I wasn't ready for sleeping yet, when I had closed the door of flat behind me. So I got the HCSD card out of my camera and started the computer to relive the past two days.
