After Latourell Falls we proceeded along the country lane to Shepperd's Dell. Here we found another waterfall and a panoramic view from the Shepperd's Dell Bridge that reminded me of illusion paintings you often find in Greek and Italian restaurants. The bridge was built in 1914

We just stopped here for a few minutes taking photos from the road. Then we went on to the Bridal Veil falls.

Having reappeared from the overwhelming green of the forest, I followed
a second trail that led to a nice view of the Columbia River Gorge. Here I glimpsed the first signs of autumn.
